Special Pre-Book Franklin Mint CF-18s – IN STOCK – EXTREMELY LIMITED RELEASE!

We (the Canadian Distributor) had the Franklin Mint produce a model of the most current Military Version of a Canadian CF-18, this was produced with the help and permission of the Canadian Armed Forces in both Cold Lake, Alberta and Bogtville, Quebec. A total of 400 pieces of these planes were produced for us; 200 pieces with the Cold Lake markings and 200 pieces with the Bagotville markings. These will both be sequentially numbered – for example #? of 200 and will have a Limited Edition Plate attached under each of the planes. We have sold 100 pieces of each of these two models to CFB Cold Lake and CFB Bagotville.

We have permission to sell the balance, 100 pieces of each of these models through our dealer network (NOTE THE HOBBY CENTRE HAS THESE EN ROUTE, WE WERE CUT BACK FROM 6 OF EACH TO 3 ONLY) AS AT JULY,2 WE HAVE ONLY ONE OF THE COLD LAKE CF-18s LEFT!. The cost of this model is more than the regular cost of Franklin Mint CF-18 for a couple of reasons. First they have produced a small run of this model (200 pieces per model) and also they have added drop tanks, bombs and missiles as well as radar on the nose.
Both of these models are scheduled to arrive to us the end of April or early in May.
Our price will be $158.98 CAD ($145 USD). THIS IS UP FROM THE ANNOUNCED PRICE, LIKELY DUE TO FLUCTUATING CURRENCIES. You may order through the store or on our eBay store (while quantities last).

the 2009 version of FCBD was a HUGE SUCCESS!
The weather held for the majority of the day and we were graced with mostly sunshine and moderate temperatures. We made a lot of new friends, young and old!

We dont just SELL hobbies, we PROMOTE them as part of ANYONE’S leisure time activities!Everyone needs a hands-on activity that develops dexterity, logical thinking, patience, methodology and SO MUCH MORE. At the Hobby Centre it is part of our MISSION STATEMENT to encourage kids (and everyone else) to get into a hobby that will enrich and reward them throughout their lifetime. Our Hobby Kids logo shows the benefits of having hobbies as part of a child’s leisure activities.
We cannot stress enough the benefits of adding craft skills to a child’s development to avoid the “instant video gratification” syndrome.
So please, along with that video game, nano, ipod, fake musical gear, expose your children to a hobby… it could last them a LIFETIME!

These are NOT Clubs.

The groups hold casual hands-on
interactive meetings, attended by enthusiasts
who are actively engaged in these activities and
are willing to share ideas and techniques with others.
If you wish to attend, please leave your name and email address along with the group(s) you are interested in with one of our staff. IF space and timetable permits, you will be invited to attend.
