One of the new features of our new Superstore location was the implementation of a suggestion box. We would love to hear what you like or even what you don’t like about our new store. Several respondants requested Warhammer products in the new store.
We are very sorry, but we CANNOT provide that. We have tried the Warhammer product line TWICE with bad outcomes both times. We cannot stock a product that you can buy cheaper from them via mail order.
One writer suggested Teddy Bear and Doll Eyes. Good idea, crafts and hobbies are closely linked but I don’t believe that product would be a good fit for us. Multicrafts on Thurston Drive may be a good source for those (I beleive that is who we would have to obtain them from).
One visitor to our store made mention that nobody talked to him during his visit. That is definitely not what we are about here. We pride ourselves on friendly service. I have spoken to our staff about that and their response is that they don’t like to intrude on or pressure customers, so they may have a relaxed visit. That would not excuse the fact that everyone should receive a friendly hello when they enter the store. We’ll work on that. Thanks for pointing that out to us!
MANY people ask about Radio Control items. There are a couple of really good specialty shops for these items in town, BUT we will slowly work into some of those lines. We have already stocked electric helicopters in the lower price ranges ($30 – $280) and we just brought in a line of RTR electric RC Boats. We will grow more in this area as we acquire source and lines of products that we are comfortable selling.
One nice note from a recent visitor stated: “You have the best shop around. Great selection of kits and lots of paint.”
